Sound Bath
Sound Baths are relaxing and restorative meditations in which a variety of sounds “bathe” the body with beneficial frequencies. People usually lie down, perhaps with a blanket and pillow, or sit comfortably, with their eyes closed. Instruments include a gong, Himalayan bowls, crystal bowls, bells, chimes, ocean drums and other sacred healing instruments.
We will begin with some gentle seated stretching, breathing, grounding, and intention setting. You will then be invited to lie down, get cozy, close your eyes, and listen.
There will be moments of sound - some deep and loud, others higher pitched - and moments of silence where the sounds drift off.
At the close of the sound bath, we will slowly reawaken the body, and you’ll be invited to sit back up. There will be some time built in for participants to readjust back to the space and the body, allowing for integration of the experience. Participants are welcome to share with the group, if they would like to.
Benefits :
reduces stress and anxiety
detoxifies the body
promotes better sleep
enhances mental clarity
improves mental health
boosts creativity
The Sound Bath event is a deeply restorative and grounding practice that helps your team members feel more rested, energized and focused.
BreathWork
Breathwork refers to practicing various styles of conscious breathing which can improve mental, physical and emotional health. As you inhale, you nourish the body, and as you exhale, you release toxins and stress. Certain breath patterns can help to calm the nervous system, while others assist in improving energy and focus. The breath practices included will be gentle, slow and meditative.
We will begin with some gentle seated stretching, grounding, and intention setting, followed by several breath practices that can help to reduce stress, promote relaxation and boost the immune system. As we flow through the practice, I will share helpful information about the breath and how it impacts and works with the body.
While all the breaths can be done seated, if the environment allows for laying down, that is an option as well.
Benefits:
boosts the immune system
regulates the nervous system
encourages relaxation
improves mood
promotes healthy digestion
enhances mental clarity
The Breathwork event is both relaxing and educational, providing tips useful around the workplace to find calm and lower stress in the body.
What People Are Saying
“Katherine has been providing the most amazing sound baths at my events for individuals with cancer, definitely the highlight of our events. I can't even imagine having an event without her. In addition to her excellent sound baths, she also provides participants with breath work and has incorporated Reiki into her sessions. I feel so lucky to have found such a talented and kind practioner!”
